Very artisitic!...love the whites...the desaturation works very well....Lovely colors....my only observation...the background is a little distracting.
Still good work!

Agree with Carlos and would like to add a wish for a change in the cropping.
I would like to see the entire flower (the colored one)...

Thanks Carlos and Patrick, I agree about the backgroud. It was a snapshot I thought would make a good composition, didn't think about the backgroud, though. Thanks guys!

The intention of the single coloured flower is to pop out and stand apart from the background. But i think the flower disappointed you. The colors in it just arent rich enough to make it really stand out. perhaps a lil tweaking to make it stand out more? Like a Rose would have stood out better, the flower has too many whites in it, hence nearly merging with the background...
Perhaps thats what my friend up there means when he says the background is a lil distracting.
Very neat concept, definitely deserves a slap on da back
